  • Delivery is free within Byron Bay and Suffolk Park. A delivery charge is applied at checkout for suburbs outside of Byron Bay. We do not aim to profit from these charges. Fees are calculated based on approximate distance from Byron Bay and take into account current fuel prices and travel time.
  • If you do not see your delivery area below please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Please note, for delivery to Ballina Airport, you must provide your hire car company, booking number and flight arrival/departure times. We are not permitted to deliver to the airport unless you have arranged a hire car. Please consider what can fit in the car you are hiring before placing your order.
  • Delivery is made between 10am and 5pm on the date of arrival. Access is facilitated through the booking agent and/or property manager. If you have an early checkin, please let us know so we can do our best to deliver items earlier. In most cases, you will not need to be at the property for us to make delivery.
  • Collection occurs from 10am on the date of departure. Access is facilitated through the booking agent and/or property manager. If you have a late check out or would like to continue to use the item during the day (eg pram or car seat), please contact us and we will try to accomodate this.
  • Items for collection must be in clean, working order and bundled together as delivered.
  • The Hirer is to place items for collection in the original delivery area on departure unless other arrangements have been made with us.

Please contact us on 0408 405 825 before placing your order if you require same day delivery. Although we are local, we are a delivery based service and are not always in front of a computer to see orders come through in real time.

  • As some of our stock is located offsite, please contact us to arrange collection from our premises in Byron Bay.
  • Due to time restrictions, this service may not be offered when the property has back to back bookings during peak holiday periods. Please contact us first.
  • Full access to the property will need to be approved and arranged through your property manager.
  • Not available on last minute orders
  • Cancellations prior to delivery will be refunded in full. All cancellations must be received via email. Please email us at info@byronbayholidayhire.com.au for this purpose.
  • For cancellations within 24 hours of arrival, please phone our office to ensure we can action this in time. A confirmation email will still be required for accounts purposes.
  • Please report faulty items as soon as possible so these can be replaced.

Items are inspected and photographed at the time of delivery and again at collection. A certain level of wear and tear on all hire items is expected however wear and damages from misuse or missing items will be the responsibility of the hirer and charged accordingly.

  • Hire items remain the property of BBHH at all times;
  • Hire items will not be delivered unless full payment has been received by BBHH;
  • Hire items are to be returned and/or collected inclusive of all parts, clean and in working order. On failure of this condition BBHH may seek reasonable repair, replacement and/or cleaning expenses from the Hirer.
  • The Hirer agrees to pay BBHH for any loss or damage to the hire items that occurred during the period in which the Hirer had possession of them;
  • BBHH may seek to recover from the Hirer full replacement costs for items that become damaged or are lost during the period in which the Hirer had possession of them. In the case of some items this cost can exceed $1500.
  • The Hirer is responsible for insuring the items during the period in which the Hirer has possession of them.
  • Whilst BBHH seeks at all times to show ‘duty of care’ in the provision of clean, working items for hire no assurance is provided in respect of the condition of the property or its suitability for any purpose;
  • Whilst BBHH seeks at all times to show ‘duty of care’ in the provision of clean, working items for hire BBHH accepts no responsibility or liability for loss, damage or injury that may occur to any person, persons or property as a result of use of the hire items. The Hirer shall indemnify BBHH, BBHH’s Owners, BBHH’s employees and agents from all loss, damage, injury, actions or claims arising directly or indirectly from the use of hire items. This includes negligence shown to be the fault of BBHH, BBHH’s Owners, BBHH’s employees and agents.
  • It is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure the hired item is appropriate for the Hirer’s intended use.
  • BBHH reserves the right to charge additional delivery fees for orders placed within 24 hours of the intended hire period
